Our Leadership

Tierra del Sol is a community based organization. Its board of directors is comprised of individuals who represent the community, public service agencies, government, banking and business. Tierra del Sol's executive director and senior staff have 80 years of collective experience in housing and community development through the nonprofit sector. Its staff, executive director and board members are involved with numerous local community organizations as board of director members that has resulted in a dynamic grass roots organizational network.

Executive Director

Rose Garcia is the Executive Director of Tierra del Sol Housing Corporation. She has been a stabilizing force for Tierra del Sol for 28 years. During her tenure of leadership, Tierra del Sol has grown from being a single-purpose organization providing single family housing in rural areas under a mutual self-help program to a multifaceted organization that has become a leading housing and community development organization in the southwestern United States.
